Awesome Games Done Quick 2014 for Charity Underway

January 6, 2014 - GamePolitics Staff

Awesome Games Done Quick 2014, a week-long gaming marathon in which participants speed run through a number of popular games, hopes to raise money for Prevent Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit group that funds cancer research and educational efforts. In its fourth year, Awesome Games Done Quick 2014 takes place until January 11. Donations will directly benefit the Prevent Cancer Foundation.

Those whose donations "meet or exceed the minimum bids" will automatically be entered into a special raffle for all kinds of gaming-related prizes. You can also contribute to bids to make bonus games or unique events appear on the stream. Also those looking for a speed run through a specific game can make a donation and lobby participants to make it happen.

You can find out more about the event by visiting gamesdonequick.com.
