Dead Island and Toy Soldiers: Cold War Free on Xbox Live in February

Dead Island and Toy Soldiers: Cold War will be available free to Xbox Live Gold subscribers in February through Microsoft's Games with Gold program, the company announced today. Techland's open-world zombie survival action-RPG Dead Island was released in September 2011 and normally costs $19.99 on Xbox 360 Games on Demand. Dead Island will be free to Xbox Live Gold level subscribers from Feb. 1-15.

Toy Soldiers: Cold War is a sequel to Signal Studios' Xbox Live Arcade title Toy Soldiers. The toy-themed war game normally cost $14.99 on Xbox Live but will be free from Feb. 16-28.

Thanks, but I'd rather play Left 4 Dead 2 and Borderlands, not the game that tries to be both of them and can't get it right.

Xbox live sure shows it's wonderful value. It seems the bargain bin titles they offer in some places might add up to the value of one month of Xbox live.
