Lindsay Lohan Sues Rockstar Over Grand Theft Auto V

July 2, 2014 - GamePolitics Staff

Actress Lindsay Lohan filed a lawsuit against Rockstar Games and parent company Take-Two Interactive, alleging that a character in Grand Theft auto V used her image, voice, and clothes line without her permission. The lawsuit was filed Wednesday in a Manhattan court.

Attorneys for the actress claim that the Lacey Jonas character, who appears in a mission where players must help her avoid pesky paparazzi, was modeled after Lohan without her permission. The suit claims Lohan's image, voice, and styles from her clothing line are also used. The lawsuit further alleges that the "Lohan-inspired mission" in the game's version of the Chateau Marmont hotel in West Hollywood is also included. Lohan once lived there.

Take-Two declined comment. Reports that a lawsuit was in the works first surfaced in TMZ last December...

Specific details on the lawsuit were not revealed as of this writing...

More info when we have it. Stay tuned.

Suppose she's right and it really is her.  There's still this thing called "satire".

Re: Lindsay Lohan Sues Rockstar Over Grand Theft Auto V

She out of drug money already?

*sigh*

Didn't we go over this a while back Lindsay? You in no way, shape, or form look like Lacey outside of the fact that you're both women. Long hair and breasts != just you.

Plus, it's dang obvious she (Lacey) was modeled after Kate Upton.

Lidsay, Lidsay, Lidsay the only character model after you in that game is Tonya and I'm pretty sure being a crackwhore isn't something exclusive to just you. I'm sure you're the only starlet (and I use that term losely) to live in Chateau Marmont Hotel in West Hollywood and be hounded by paparazzi.
