This video from the Royal Society for the encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (RSA) is priceless, even if you don't agree with its premise on morality and honesty. There's even a small bit about file-sharing in there. Enjoy it - it was unearthed by occasional "video games aren't art" film critic Roger Ebert.

Develop reports that UK-based indie developers Byron Atkinson-Jones and Andrew Roper have a novel way for game developers to pass the time while flying to the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco in March: create a game! They are challenging themselves and other developers to make a game on their flight to GDC with a special "Plane Jam." The only hard rule is that the game must be created during your flight to GDC.

Look! It's a new video with Andrew Eisen complaining about something. There's no keeping this guy satisfied! Not only is he upset with the delay of Rayman Legends for all platforms (hey, wasn't this supposed to be a Wii U exclusive?), but he also wants to make us listen to him complaining about it. I'm sure he uses some kind of rapier wit to describe his current angst against Ubisoft (usually he'd be complaining about U Play or "always on" DRM), but will it make his message palatable enough for us to listen? The jury is still out.

We meant to mention this earlier in the week, because it is mildly amusing. While other organizations are offering their expertise on video game violence to the President and Vice-President of the United States, Sword of the Stars 1 & 2, Fort Zombie, and NorthStar developer Kerberos Productions offers some expertise in another area: the future weaponization of space.

After announcing that it would launch a planet in Star Wars: The Old Republic where players could engage in same sex relationships with NPC's, the gaming community's reaction has been mixed.  The new planet, Makeb, will be launched as part of the Rise of the Hutt Cartel expansion pack to be released later this year.

But the LGBT community is not happy with the relationships being isolated on one planet or the fact that they will have to buy an expansion pack in order to use it. Some are calling this little wrinkle "pay-to-gay."

While we admire Link for saving Princess Zelda and defeating different variations of Gannon in Nintendo's The Legend of Zelda, one constant in the series is his penchant for breaking other people's property.

If you have ever thought to yourself "what would happen if Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak and actor Danny Trejo teamed up to fight crime?" then the iOS game "Vengeance: Woz With A Coz" may be worth a look. The game turns that "other guy" that helped start Apple into an 8-bit hero in a side-scrolling beat 'em up, alongside popular actor Danny Trejo (Machete, Once Upon a Time in Mexico, Sons of Anarchy). Woz solicits the help of Trejo after his wife is kidnapped.

The creative team behind Adult Swim's Robot Chicken animated show detail a special episode of the show on the PlayStation Blog. The special episode, airing tonight at 10 PM ET during the Adult Swim mature cartoon block on Cartoon Network - features an imaginative PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale skit. Apparently Sony approached the Robot Chicken folks to create this special episode:

Team Meat co-founder and Super Meat Boy co-creator Aubrey Hesselgren announced that he is holding the 3D prototype of Super Meat Boy Galaxy "hostage" in an attempt to raise 10,000 British pounds for depression-focused charity The Samiritans. He made his announcement (demands?) on the web site Just Giving. If the goal is met Hesselgren will release the the 3D Super Meat Boy Galaxy prototype to the public and if it fails he'll offer it only to those who were kind enough to donate.

EA Sports has put some cold hard cash behind "Movember" - the month long fight to raise money for prostate cancer. The EA Sports division is putting up $500,000 in advertising throughout the month inside its most popular franchises including FIFA, Madden NFL, and NHL. The goal of Movember is to raise awareness about prostate cancer and male mental health by asking "Mo Bros" to grow moustaches in the month of November. "Mo Sistas" are also encouraged to help raise funds and awareness.

YouTube sensation The Fine Brothers Productions offers a nifty new video featuring a group of elderly people watching and reacting to the new trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops II. While some of the "seasoned" participants seemed close minded about the idea of children (teens) or adults playing such a violent first-person shooter (one person said it could train people to kill) there are a few bright spots of commentary on the usefulness of violent video games as a teaching tool.

The final battle in Slate's Political Kombat ’12 is about to go down, but this time the community gets to decide who goes on the be the president of the arena and who gets dragged off to the local mortuary. Previous battles in Slate's video series inspired by the gory combat of the Mortal Kombat series included Mitt Romney versus Rick Santorum and Herman Cain, Romney versus Newt Gingrich and Ron Paul, President Obama versus Donald Trump, and Paul Ryan versus Joe Biden.

Zachary Knight celebrate Halloween with tales of horror about bugs and glitches in video games, offer their opinions on Activision editing a Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer map because of complaints from the community, and share several true ghost stories. It's spookier and creepier (or hotter depending on your perspective) than Mitt Romney making out with President Barack Obama and Gary Johnson in the balcony of a seedy New York City movie theater!

Arktos Entertainment Group, the makers of the MMO The War Z, had an embarrassing moment this week as users on this Reddit thread revealed that the company copied the League of Legends terms of service agreement and inserted it into their game. Oops. This is particularly embarrassing because the company was founded by a Riot Games employee Sergey Titov...

Slate has released the fourth episode of its Political Kombat ’12 video series, which retells the story of the 2012 presidential race in a succession of animated video game fights modeled after Mortal Kombat. In the latest episode, Vice President Joe Biden goes toe-to-toe against his Republican challenger Congressman Paul Ryan.

Riot Games has released an infographic that illustrates why its MOBA title, League of Legends, is the most played game in the entire world.

According to data on that colorful infographic, League of Legends has a total of 70 million registered Summoner names, 32 million active monthly users, and 12 million daily active users. The infographic also claims that over 1 billion game hours are logged every month in League of Legends.

While the upcoming game developer jam - F*ck This Jam might have the most colorful name ever - organizers are aiming to take developers out of their comfort zones to create games in genres they absolutely loathe.

Yesterday Slate debuted its gamified political video series Political Kombat '12 with a fight between Mitt Romney and former Republican presidential candidates Rick Santorum and Herman Cain. In Round II he takes on Libertarian super hero Ron Paul and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich.

In Episode 3 President Obama will take center stage as the lead combatant in a fantasy battle with millionaire Donald Trump. Ultimately Romney and Obama will meet for a series of fights as we speed towards the real thing - election day on November 6.

Slate has put together a series of videos that show the past and upcoming presidential political debates as a series of fights similar to Mortal Kombat called "Political Kombat '12."

With all the talk of legalizing the use of marijuana at the state and federal level (for and against), it seems only appropriate that the 70's most iconic stoner comedy team should release an app on Android and iOS. Cheech Marin and Tommy Chong have teamed up with developer MEDL Mobile to create and deploy Cheech and Chong's The Fatty. The app is a mix of gags, gameplay and fun but useless utilities for the modern age stoner.

The following faux game commercial is over-the-top but admittedly funny in an ironic sort of way. The commercial is for "the greatest real time strategy game never made; Chinese Electronics Factory Worker: The Game!"

The best and most cringe inducing quote from the video is when the young boy playing the game proclaims:

"Exploiting Chinese Workers is awesome!"

While some reporters were covering the Democratic and Republican Conventions earlier this month, quite a few of them were fooling around with a competition put on by 2K Play and Comedy Central's Indecision Game. A "clandestine" political trivia tournament was held between 20 of the nation's greatest political pundits and reporters to see who was the most politically savvy in a March Madness-style bracket.

An error with an image in Madden NFL 13 has one NFL star agitated to no end. New York Giants player Marcus Thomas was upset when he noticed that an in-game photo of a different Marcus Thomas was in his profile. That Marcus Thomas played for the Denver Broncos three years ago and looks nothing like the New York Giants star.

Obviously the Marcus Thomas who was supposed to be pictured in the game wasn't too happy about it and took to Twitter:

Epic Games' Chair Entertainment has turned the 2012 election into a literal fight with its new iOS game that lets you play as Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney or President Barack Obama and punch and kick your way into the White House.

Players can equip their candidate of choice with "iconic American outfits, accessories and items," and as they progress through the game they can unlock score boosters, win votes, and more. Some of the key features, according to Chair Entertainment, include:

The judge in the high-stakes, high profile US patent trial between Apple and Samsung made her comments after Apple attorney William Lee named 22 people in a 73-page witness list he wanted to call to rebut the testimony of Samsung's witnesses.

After looking at the list, Judge Koh offered the following response:
